Trust and transparency
Editorial policy and AI disclosure
How FinBara creates useful, accurate, and transparent personal-finance content.
Last reviewed: July 21, 2026Our editorial purpose
FinBara articles are written to help readers understand personal-finance organization and use the product responsibly. A page must answer a real question, add practical value beyond a search-result summary, and accurately describe what FinBara can do.
Review standards
Product claims are checked
Descriptions of FinBara features are compared with the current product implementation. We do not present planned or unverified functionality as available.
Financial claims need reliable support
For budgeting, credit, investment, and payment concepts, we prefer primary sources such as regulators, government consumer resources, and official platform documentation.
Advice stays educational
Articles explain workflows and decision frameworks. They do not provide individualized financial, investment, tax, legal, or credit advice.
Material updates are dated
When an article receives a substantive review, its reviewed date and structured article metadata are updated so readers can judge its currency.
How we use AI
AI tools may help with topic discovery, outlines, first drafts, language adaptation, and identifying areas that require research. AI output is not treated as a source. Before publication, content should be checked for unsupported claims, duplicated language, product accuracy, useful detail, and links to appropriate primary sources.
We do not publish invented experience, fabricated quotations, fake credentials, or AI-generated statistics. When evidence is limited, the article should say so instead of implying certainty.
Financial-information boundary
FinBara provides educational information and organizational tools. Content on this site is not individualized financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, or credit advice. Readers should verify decisions against their own records and consult a qualified professional when their circumstances require one.
Corrections and updates
We correct factual errors, broken links, inaccurate product descriptions, and material omissions. The reviewed date is changed when the substance of an article changes, not for cosmetic edits alone.
If you find a problem, report it through FinBara support and include the article URL and the statement that needs review.
