FinBara feature

Automatic Apple Pay import via Shortcuts, without bank login

FinBara is built for people who pay with their phone every day. The shortcut sends the transaction to the app, and the rules can categorize it automatically.

The image shows the flow: the Apple Pay payment enters via Shortcut, is mapped to the correct account and arrives categorized in FinBara.

Quick capture from phone

After payment, the shortcut can send the amount, merchant, card and date to FinBara. The transaction ends up in the import queue or directly in the ledger.

Match your accounts

The cards in the shortcut are mapped to FinBara accounts, so that the application reflects the real account used for payment.

Automatic rules

Lidl, Kaufland, Digi or Netflix can automatically receive category and tags without manually editing each payment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the bank need to be connected?

No. FinBara uses data entered or sent by you, not direct access to the bank account.

Does it only work with Apple Pay?

The automatic flow is designed for iPhone Shortcuts, but you can also quickly enter transactions manually.
